1.Introduction 

Sodium humate, also known as sodium humic acid, is the sodium salt of humic acid. It is a dark brown or grayish black shiny granular substance or powder, odorless and soluble in water. Sodium humate is generally made by reacting peat powder with caustic soda solution. In agriculture, sodium humate can be used as a fertilizer and plant growth stimulant. It can stimulate crop growth and development, improve soil structure, and increase crop drought resistance. It promotes the activation of nitrogen-fixing bacteria. In industry, sodium humate can be used to increase yeast capacity and ethanol production. It can also be used as a lubricant, etc.
